What to do after you detect a roof leak

First, contain the drip. While it’s still raining there isn’t much you can do to stop a leak but you can clean up any standing water. After you clean up the water lay down a large towel and then a bucket or pot to catch more drips.

Next, contact us to take a look. It may be tempting to let the leak go until it starts to rain again or to try to fix it yourself. But having our highly trained employees repair your roof is much less than the cost of risking your safety or finding out that further repairs are needed down the road.

We service all areas from South Walton to Panama City Beach. Contact us for a free estimate today by calling 850-231-9114.

You’re right about not waiting — we did that last year and our leak just got worse!

Great article, I’m always that person who waits until the next rain!
